Heartfelt congratulations to Eva Lyons, who celebrated her wedding at the weekend — a truly special occasion for one of the club’s most loyal supporters and past players.

Eva’s name is fondly remembered in Bruree GAA circles for her outstanding underage career, where her commitment, skill, and love for the game were evident from an early age. A defining moment came in 2008 when she played her part in a memorable 4-4 to 3-3 victory over Killeedy in the curtain-raiser to the Junior B All-Ireland Hurling Final, calmly adding the vital insurance point on a big day for the club. She followed that success in 2009 on the football field, contributing to another fine triumph as Bruree overcame Dromcollogher/Broadford in the Under-12 Dawn Milk Final in the Gaelic Grounds. 

Eva has always represented the very best of the club — dedication, pride, and community spirit — and it is with great pride that all in Bruree GAA celebrate this wonderful milestone in her life.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Eva and her husband Adrian, wishing them a lifetime filled with happiness, health, and every blessing in the years ahead.

Our Junior hurlers next game is scheduled for Saturday 16th May at 7:30pm at home against Ahane.
