Congratulations David 👍🏻

Our youngest club referee David Deady is the man in charge of Saturday's Limerick Minor A Hurling Championship Final between Adare and Murroe-Boher in Mick Neville Park at 2.30pm.This is David's first year reffing in Limerick and he's first major county final here as well. He has refereeed a couple of all county league games and minor championship games to date. He has also done underage matches at U14 and U16 level. David first took up reffing in 2016 shortly after moving to Australia. He Referred mainly men’s and ladies football in Queensland but refereed the Hurling League Final and Championship Final in Queensland in 2017. He's Biggest game to date would be reffing the Australasian Ladies Football Championship Final in Perth in 2017 between Western Australia and Victoria in front of the GAA president Aogán Ó Fearghaíl and the President of Ireland Michael D Higgins. He would take a break from reffing in 2018 but decided to take it up again this season. This is a proud moment for David and he's family and the club. Its been some year for our club referees with John O'Halloran Reffing the Limerick Senior Hurling Championship Final and Mike Sexton Reffing the Limerick Intermediate Hurling Championship Final. On Saturday David will be our third referee to take charge of a major final in Limerick and we wish David and he's team of Officials the very best of luck.
